There's nothing like a deep fryer for delivering a perfectly crispy exterior and soft interior. Whether you're whipping up a batch of french fries or some delicious chicken wings, a deep fryer is the gold standard of fried foods. Though not an essential kitchen tool, it sure is a nice thing to have. Exactly how much does a deep fryer cost?
Deep fryers can cost as little as $30 up to around $700 for a commercial grade appliance. This includes double vat fryers in the higher end of the range.
We'll take a look at a range of different deep fryers from simple countertop models to more deluxe free-standing models. We'll also answer a few of your questions in regards to deep fryers.

What Is The Best Deep Fryer For Home Use?
It depends on how much you think you'll use it. For most people, something like the Presto dual-chambered pot or the DeLonghi Roto Fryer will be all that you'll ever need. They can be purchased for under a hundred dollars and don't take up a tremendous amount of space.
Are Deep Fryers Worth It?
Same as above, it depends on how much you use it. For most of us, it's easier to go out and buy fried food we want to eat. But if space is not at a premium in your kitchen and you have room for a small additional appliance, the low cost of the smaller deep fryers kind of makes it a no-brainer to say, yes, they're worth it.
Is A Cajun Cooker A Deep Fryer?
A cajun fryer is a deep fryer, but unlike our electric and countertop models shown above, they're run with propane and are used outdoors, not indoors. A cajun cooker, however, is not used with oil like deep fryers, but with water to create steam to cook seafood and steam vegetables. So, no, a cajun cooker is not a deep fryer because it works with steam instead of oil.
We hope you've found a great deep fryer for your snacking needs.
